Two Eight is a missions organization built around a simple conviction: hope needs to be louder.
Our world is facing a crisis of hope, and we believe the ultimate source of that hope is found in Jesus. Two Eight exists to help make that hope more visible, more compelling, and more accessible—both here in Indiana and around the world.
We're a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that brings together musicians, storytellers, filmmakers, event producers, worship leaders, and other creative specialists to help ministries and mission-driven organizations reach more people and make a greater impact.
Founded by Eric and Jillian Maitlen in 2005, Two Eight began with missionary musicians traveling to lead worship and perform outreach concerts. Over the years, that work grew into a collaborative team with the skills, relationships, and equipment to produce events and media of our own—and to help other organizations do the same.
Today, our small full-time staff works alongside dozens of musicians, media specialists, producers, and production engineers. We don't simply want to put on great events or make great media. We want to use those things to help people encounter hope and equip others to carry it farther.

Our work falls into three connected areas:
AMPLIFYING HOPE:
Creating spiritual ‘watershed’ moments and connecting people to recovery resources through music, outreach and event production. We help make important messages impossible to ignore.MULTIPLYING IMPACT:
Using documentaries, podcasts, films, and other media-based storytelling to inspire action and reach people far beyond a single event and give our partners greater reach and greater impact.MOBILIZING PEOPLE:
Helping ordinary believers become disciple-makers through practical tools, intentional community, and meaningful partnerships. So, depending on the season, that might mean we’re leading worship for a college ministry’s conference event, or producing a statewide tour of recovery festivals, or filming video content for an international ministry in our studio, or a host of other things.
(Check out our Initiatives page for some recent examples). The projects may look different, but mission doesn't change - amplify hope, multiply impact, and mobilize disciple makers.

Because the opportunities are bigger than our current resources.
Much of what Two Eight does happens through donations and grants, with a small amount from sustainable revenue - but those resources don't cover everything we're called to do.
A gift to Two Eight can help put a worship team on a stage, a story in front of an audience, a recovery resource in someone's hands, a disciple-making tool into the hands of a leader, or a ministry partner in a position to reach thousands more people.
When people give to TwoEight, it allows us to invest where the greatest opportunities arise - to develop new initiatives, equip our team, respond when God opens unexpected doors, and to serve organizations that are mission-aligned, but couldn’t otherwise afford our services.
Your generosity doesn't simply help Two Eight operate. It helps create opportunities for hope to move.Visit our Donate page if you’d like to help us amplify hope!

Because hope is so desperately needed there.
Through personal family connections, our team became acutely aware of the devastating impact of the opioid crisis in Indiana. We saw not only the pain of addiction, but also the stigma, isolation, and lack of connection that can keep people from finding help.
So we asked a simple question: What could we do with the gifts we've been given? In 2017, we developed Our Story, Our Time - a live experience that used live music, video, storytelling, and personal testimony to raise awareness of the opioid crisis and connect people with resources.
Those early events opened doors to relationships with recovery organizations, state agencies, churches, and community leaders. Over time, those relationships grew into initiatives like the Summer of Recovery Tour and the Indiana Recovery + Faith Conference.
Today, we're trusted partners in creating events that bring people together, celebrate recovery, connect people with resources, and create space for conversations about faith.
We believe recovery matters, and we also believe people are made for more than simply surviving. We want to help people experience not only recovery, but redemption.
-
Because we believe the Kingdom is bigger than any one organization.
Rather than trying to build everything ourselves, we come alongside people and organizations who are already doing meaningful work. We bring creative expertise, production capabilities, relationships, and resources that can help them communicate more effectively and reach further.
When we help another ministry succeed, their impact becomes part of our impact.
That's one of the reasons we believe partnership is such a powerful way to steward the resources God has given us.

Our name comes from Psalm 2:8:
“Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.”
From the beginning, we've had a desire to see the hope of Jesus reach beyond our own communities—to the ends of the earth.
Two Eight's earliest work included international missions, and members of our team have performed and served in more than 25 countries across five continents.
But the vision isn't really about geography.
Whether we're serving a church down the road, a recovery community across Indiana, a ministry partner across the country, or missionaries on the other side of the world, our prayer is the same:
That more people would encounter the hope of Jesus—and that more people would be equipped to carry that hope to others.
