Two Eight Turns 20!
Twenty Years!!
Did you know this year marks the 20th anniversary of the launch of Two Eight? This Giving Tuesday (December 2nd), join us for a special livestream event celebrating 20 years of Two Eight - two decades of creating music and moments that move people toward Jesus.
For 20 years, we’ve carried a message of hope across the globe - from worship nights on college campuses and street outreaches in Jamaica to recovery festivals throughout Indiana and powerful media projects that share the story of how Jesus changes lives.
Whether you’ve been with us since day one or are just learning about our mission, you can be part of what’s next! If you’d like to give early or become a regular donor, visit twoeightministries.com/give. Your gift turns up the volume on hope - helping it reach further, change more lives, and accelerate faith movements around the world.
From Dope to HOPE!
In late October, we had the privilege of partnering with Thrive RCO in southern Indiana to help produce their largest community awareness event of the year. Thrive is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for and supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges, and substance use disorders.
Their signature event, the Dope to Hope Show , is a powerful celebration of transformation and recovery. The show features members of the community who are in active recovery, modeling their journey through two symbolic segments. In the “Dark” segment, participants walk the runway as their “former selves,” representing the struggles of active addiction. Then, in the “Light” segment, they return to the stage as their renewed selves—walking in recovery, health, and purpose. As Thrive beautifully describes it, “What you’re witnessing here is not performance—it’s transformation.”
The atmosphere is electric and deeply moving. Attendees stand to their feet cheering, crying, and celebrating the visible change in their loved ones: children, spouses, parents—people who have walked out of the darkness of addiction and into the light of recovery and new life.
Our role is to ensure every element of the event runs seamlessly and leaves a lasting impact. We provide an LED video wall, professional audio and lighting systems, and a dedicated production team that works hand-in-hand with Thrive’s leadership. For the past three years, Thrive has trusted us to bring this vision to life, and it has become one of our favorite events of the year.
Events like Dope to Hope open doors for authentic spiritual conversations that might not happen anywhere else. They also strengthen a partnership that has helped grow initiatives like our Summer of Recovery Tour and other collaborative projects across the state.
Recovery + Faith Conference
In early October, we had the privilege of co-hosting the Recovery + Faith Conference in Carmel, Indiana, alongside our friends at Paul’s Plan Ministries. This annual event brings together faith-based and secular recovery communities from across the state, all united in the shared mission of addressing substance use and mental health challenges. Through powerful worship, thought-provoking films, inspiring keynote speakers, and engaging breakout sessions, the conference fosters a collaborative movement where faith and recovery leaders work side by side to create recovery-ready communities.
Launched in 2024 with its inaugural gathering in West Lafayette, Indiana, the Recovery + Faith Conference marked a historic moment in the state, as it was the first time faith leaders, recovery professionals, policymakers, and individuals with lived experience have come together in this way.
The event’s mission is to unite Indiana’s recovery and faith communities, creating a space where hope, healing, and collaboration intersect to provide better support for families affected by mental health and addiction challenges.
Creating a conference like this — one that’s never existed before — requires a great deal of work and planning, but our work within both the faith and recovery communities made it clear — this conversation needed to happen. The connections formed at these gatherings have blossomed into powerful partnerships, allowing us to create events that bring together physical recovery and spiritual redemption.
Thanks!
Every prayer, every gift, and every act of support makes this mission possible. For 20 years, your generosity and faith have propelled us forward — and we’re believing God for even greater things in the next 20!
Thanks for being a part of it with us!
