The Summer Of Recovery Tour

The Summer of Recovery Tour events were family-friendly, pro-social festival events with live music, powerful stories, and opportunities for people to connect with local recovery-related resources. Sponsored by Indiana’s Division of Mental Health and Addiction, these events celebrated recovery, inspired hope, and built upon Indiana’s already engaging recovery culture, helping lay the groundwork for new sustainable recovery events in key regions of the state.‍

‍

Over the course of the summers of 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025, the tour found it’s way to these cities:

Anderson - Argos - Auburn - Bloomington - Connersville - Crawfordsville - Evansville - Gary - Ft. Wayne - Indianapolis (x2) - Jasper - Kendallville - Kokomo - Lebanon - Muncie - New Albany - New Castle - Noblesville - Orleans - Portland - Rensselaer - Terre Haute - Valparaiso - Wabash - West Baden

At every tour stop, we threw a party with a purpose, empowered recovery efforts, connected people to resources, and boldly proclaimed the message that recovery is possible, and addiction does not get to write the final chapter in people’s stories.

Every person has value. Every story matters. And by God’s grace, every story can be redeemed.

Two Eight’s role was to coordinate the entire tour, plan and produce every event including programming, guest speaker scheduling, house band and guest artist coordination, and to provide all elements of technical production (sound, LED wall, etc. ).
