Embrace to Empower

Over 80% of churches report feeling unequipped to effectively support individuals with disabilities. Only about 10–20% of churches in Indiana currently offer any type of disability or special‑needs ministry. As children age-out of services, teens and adults with disabilities are left critically underserved nationwide.

Embrace to Empower’s mission is to walk alongside individuals with disabilities through Christ‑centered, relational discipleship, empowering them to live fully in their God‑given identity—confident, capable, included, and flourishing in every sphere of life.

In 2026, we’re beginning the work of launching and scaling Embrace to Empower by equipping churches with adaptive discipleship resources, delivering high-quality community programs, and employing leaders from the disability community to train churches and build lasting, transformative impact.

Two Eight’s role is to build, launch, and sustain all elements of the initiative including programming, sustainable funding, administrative support, and community development.
